Judy you were the most courgeous woman I know. For 58 years we have communicated keeping in touch by writing as young teenagers then after your accident with the type writer. I did not realise until I met you in 2008 what an effort that would have been and then with the advent of the 'amazing' computer and the demise of the typewriter suddenly it was all a lot more difficult as the keys ran away and there needed to be someone there to help you. A loss of independence a bit , but you didn't lose your sense of humour and even though I was not a good correspondence we did keep in touch and you were most certainly a part of my life for a very long time. I have known you longer than I have known most friends i have today! There is the angel for the Christmas tree and nore recently the ' Thanksgiving Turkey' and the whimsical snowmen.
I loved visiting you, two very special days and you were determined to make the most of it and even refused to go back to the MHCC when you were meant to! You were not going to miss a thing. I loved watching you at the Green Bay Packers visit and we didn't get into the stands because there was a game that afternoon BUT we DID get there. Through you I have learned about the Packers, through you I have learned to be patient and to appreciate what I have and not to sweat the small stuff because nothing was easy for you and you coped. Your were one resiliant, feisty woman Judy and you will be remembered and missed here thousands of miles away. Arohanui my friend Arohanui
