Kasten, Arland H.
Arland H. Kasten, age 92, formerly of the Town of Gibson, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Atrium Post Acute Care Center, Two Rivers.
Arland was born May 2, 1925 in the Town of Gibson, son of the late Henry L. and Maybelle (Burt) Kasten. He graduated from Mishicot High School with the Class of 1943. On November 6, 1948 he married the former Audrey Mueller at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, town of Gibson. Arland was a dairy farmer in the Town of Gibson before his retirement.
Survivors include his wife of almost 69 years: Audrey Kasten, Two Rivers; two sisters-in-law: LaVerne Rathsack, Two Rivers; Eva Mueller, Two Rivers; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Arland was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law Lorraine & Norman Schimmelpfenning.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Town of Gibson. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. James Heffner with burial to take place following services at the church cemetery.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
