Hansen, Carole J.

Carole J. Hansen, age 79, of Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Saturday, November 4, 2017 at her residence.

The former Carole Gadzinski was born on September 1, 1938 in Manitowoc daughter of the late Victor and Irene (Budnik) Gadzinski. She grew up in Manitowoc attending St. Mary's grade school and was a 1958 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Carole was a 1970 graduate of LTI becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked in the past for Holy Family Hospital and Shady Lane Nursing Care Center. Following her retirement, she worked as a homecare nurse for Mrs. Ruth Nash until her passing.

Carole was a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a current member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. She enjoyed reading, rubber card stamping and making reading cards. Carole loved her time spent with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: Jeffrey (Sherry) Hansen, Whitelaw; one daughter and son-in-law: Jennifer (Rodrigo "Rod" Rodriguez) Miller, Manitowoc; six grandchildren: Roxanne Hansen; Ashley Hansen; Kyle Hansen; Aubrey Hansen; Devin Hansen; Hannah Hansen; two great-grandchildren: Jasmine Banuelos; Maddox Oehlke; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Robert (Donna) Gadzinski, Kewaunee; Richard (Sandy) Gadzinski, Harshaw; Rodger (Debi) Gadzinski, Two Rivers; one brother-in-law: Charles Hicks, Santa Cruz, CA, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Victor and Irene Gadzinski; one sister: Sharon Hicks.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, November 10, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, 1114 South 21st Street, Manitowoc. The Rev. David Pleier will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial of her cremated remains at the Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:30 a.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is assisting the family with arrangements.
