Virginia C. Lippold
Manitowoc - Virginia C. Lippold, age 84, a Manitowoc resident, died Sunday, December 17, 2017 at The Court Assisted Living of the Felician Village, Manitowoc.
She was born on April 29, 1933 in West Allis, daughter of the late George and Mary (Novohradsky) Rauch. On July 4, 1953 she married John C. Lippold at West Allis. He preceded her in death on December 14, 2012. Virginia owned and operated Calico Cat, a consignment /craft store. She was very artistically creative and talented and loved sharing her artistic talents. Collecting and designing jewelry was one of her greatest passions. She was a strong, religious woman devoted to the traditional Catholic faith. Virginia always put her family first. She was a wonderful mom, grandma, great grandma and lifelong friend. Virginia will be missed by all.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Roxane (Dennis) Walker, Caryn Remington; one son: Randall Lippold; five grandchildren: Nicole Walker, Danielle Remington, Jessica (Josh) Louwerse, Aaron Walker (fiancé Deborah Bates), RyLyn Lippold; one granddaughter-in-law: Beth Remington; six great grandchildren: Logan, Luke, Tristen, Ava, Evan, & John Randall; one sister: Lorraine Small; a very close family friend: Lois Seiberlich; and one brother-in-law: John Wegener. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law: Barry Remington; a grandson: Jason Remington and a sister: Phyllis Wegener.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Blessed Angela Chapel at Felician Village, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Gerald Foley with burial at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Milwaukee, at a later date.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Blessed Angela Chapel at Felician Village, Manitowoc, from 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 21, 2017 until 12:00 noon.
