I enjoyed all my times with Wally, but perhaps the most memorable was taking him for a ride in my open cockpit Stearman biplane. He trained in them before learning the P-51 and heading off to war. He was smiling so much we had to wipe the bugs off his teeth. Just kidding, but he talked about that flight all the time. Our thoughts are with Catherine and the rest of the family. Sorry about this late post. I just found out. Curt Drumm

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this sad time. I worked at the yacht club for many years and always enjoyed his stories of South Grimms and how the German boy met his Irish Catherine Mullins. I will miss his ordering his half baked potato (twice baked). I have his Tom and Jerry recipe and will always think of him at Christmas when make them. Take care.

My deepest sympathy to Wally's family. I was fortunate to have known him while growing up in the neighborhood with Tom and John, his sons.
