Mary Lou Coombs
Mary Lou Coombs, 58, of Boise, died Jan. 8, 2017 at her home due to natural causes. Mary Lou was born September 28, 1958, in Boise, Idaho, the daughter of Irma Clark. She is survived by her siblings: Mike (Margaret) Coombs, Marty Clark, Stan Coombs, Rick (Dona) Coombs, Linda Chandler and her mother Irma Clark. She also leaves three nephews: Sam, Will and Magnus; two nieces, Brianna and Kaylee, many uncles, aunts, cousins and her best friend Debbie Wall-Graham.
Mary Lou graduated from Borah High in 1977. Mary Lou retired from Saint Alphonsus Hospital in Boise after 35 years in the dietitian department where she had many friends. She was the great granddaughter of early pioneer families: George Knox, Ed Bush, Jennie Clark and William Fease.
Mary Lou loved her Grandma Edna Clark, her family, her friends, God and her little dog Gideon. She was an avid reader and loved going to the movies or watching them at home. She kept a list every year documenting every movie she watched and every book she read.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Boise Christian Center, 9001 Overland Rd, Boise, ID 83709, at 2 p.m. with a reception following until 4 p.m. We invite all of Mary Lou's friends to come join her family for some fellowship and remembrance in honor of Mary Lou's life.
Arrangements are under the direction of Zeyer Funeral Chapel, Nampa, 467-7300.

Years have come between us and our daily lives kept us apart but we're still family. God bless you cousin. My heart and prayers are with Aunt Irma and my cousins Linda, Stan, Mike, Marty, and Rick.

I worked with ML at the hospital and will always carry many fond memories of her! She was one-of-a-kind! Despite her 'tough exterior' at times, she had a big heart and gentle spirit! Will miss her!
