Nancy Carver Obituary

Nancy Lucile Carver
June 15, 1946 - April 14, 2015
On April 14, 2015, Nancy Lucile Duvall Carver passed on to be with her Lord and Savior after many years of severe lung problems. She had survived breast cancer and a number of other health issues, too many to count. The family will be having a Celebration of Nancy's life at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25th at Caldwell Free Methodist Church, 3320 S Montana Ave, Caldwell. Condolences may be shared at www.dakanfuneralchapel.com
Nancy was born June 15, 1946 to Phoebe Josephine and Edward Francis Duvall in Cameo, Colorado. Nancy graduated from BSU in Nampa and received her GED. She also finished several Bible college courses through the years and earned a certificate in art as well.
She was always ministering to others along the path of her life, she was a true friend to people she would meet along life's path. When she would cook a meal and someone would show up, she would ask, "Are you hungry"? She always believed that as long as she had food, no matter how little, no one would leave her house hungry.
Nancy enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting through the year when the weather would permit. She also was known for her "Hot Chili" - The Tumble Weeds is the name of the group that competes in the chili cook-offs around the area. Nancy was an artist who enjoyed oil painting and drawing as well as ceramics. She loved cooking, whipping up new recipes all the time.
Nancy had the biggest heart, was the best friend, a loving mother and a loving sister. She was loved by many who knew her and had a heart of gold always giving of herself and her time she was always available to meet any need.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 52 years, Marvin Carver of Caldwell; her children, Jim (Debbie) Carver of Caldwell, Tim (Shelly) Carver of Marsing, LaShawnda Carver of Caldwell, and Dean Canaan of WA; 7 siblings, an older sister that was born in 1945 possibly in Arkansas, her name is unknown, Frances Neal of Nampa, Kathryn (Everett) Freeman of Homedale, Paul (Marsha) Duvall of Seattle, WA, Glen (Kathy) Duvall of Filer, Lura (Earl) Sandoval of Battle Mountain, NV, and George Duvall of Homedale; a sister in-law, Debbie Duvall of Boise; 2 cousins, Robert (Corrine) Bell of Sisters, OR and Christina (Andrew) Paskett of UT; 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and too many nieces, nephews and greats to count!
She joined her parents and two younger brothers, Dale Duvall and Burt Duvall as they rest at peace with the Lord.
