Dave and LaRue were our neighbors in Ivins Ut. We loved them. Dave had a beautiful voice. Enjoyed singing in the choir with them. Eventhough they were not old enough, we referred to them as "Dad and Mom" We were sad when they moved back to Idaho. Dave gave us a lot of "stuff" he didn't want to take with him. A beautiful piece of petrified wood has a special place in my yard. Hopefully he has found John and renewed their friendship.
I'm sorry for your loss, but thankful he has gone home to dear LaRue.

So many of my best memories have Uncle David, Aunt LaRue and my cousins in them. When I heard Uncle David passed away my heart broke, but then I received Annette's Christmas card and her tribute to Uncle David and knowing that he is HOME again with Aunt LaRue started the healing process.
Uncle David and Aunt LaRue were also so loving and kind to me as a niece but also to my children. They willl be missed until I go HOME and see them again.
I love each of you.

In all my memories of My Uncle David, Growing up as his nephew I do not ever remember him raising his voice or chastising us in any way.
If he did he must have done it in a diplomatic way.
I always will remember him as a kind and gentle brother to my mother. An attentive and helpful Uncle. A patient Father and Husband.
And always treating those around him with kindness and fairness.
He will be missed but I know his reunion
is now an incredible gathering of friends and family.

Uncle David was one of my very favorite people to be around when I was a small child & young adult. He always had a smile, hug & kind words. I'm so very lucky to have known such a wonderful man who indulged & encouraged my childhood imagination and dreams. I will treasure my memories of him always & he will be greatly missed. I love you Uncle David.
