Pam, we were heart broken to read of Jonathan's passing. I will always appreciate his friendship, humor, and enlightened perspectives on so many topics. Please know that our thoughts are with you during this time of great loss.

I first got to know Jonathan over twenty years ago when he was a new AVP and I was chair of faculty senate. What a treat it was to work with him as AVP. Many know the difficulties I find with administrators' views of higher ed, but I always appreciated Jonathan's intelligence and insight, and even worked as an assistant for him. It was a pleasure to know him. He is missed by us.
