Today, as I choose to 'honor my Mother & Father' in an effort to LightTheWorld with the love of Jesus Christ, I wish to leave a few thoughts about my mother & father.
Bert loved her Savior Jesus Christ. She testified of him verbally & carried His Teachings with her always. She saw to it that her own children received religious instruction at an early age & reinforced The Ten Commandments & Golden Rule in her home.
Ernie had the blessing of dying of being revived. During that experience, he came away with, 'have the heart & mind of Jesus Christ every day'! He shared some of that sacred experience with me. It changed him & I know he became reconciled to His Savior in his final years.
I cannot express strongly enough my appreciation to my parents for their strong example & teaching of living a life of truth & honesty. I love them, I miss them, & am confident that they are resting from worldly cares in the Paradise of God.

My condolences go out to the entire family. Alberta will be missed by everyone who knew her. I remember her dedication to her family and her direct comments. I often thought---"you never have to wonder what Bert was thinking--she told you outright." She offered advice and guidance to anyone who needed it. She loved my Bryan unconditionally--and was so supportive of his treatment plan even though it sometimes caused disruptions in family get-togethers. She was so proud of him as he grew into a caring person. I will miss her as my "Mom" after my own mother died. Both she and Ernie called me daughter and treated me as such. Oh how I wish we could play pinochle again. RIP dear lady.
