I was privileged to know this man as a shipmate and friend. He laughed freely even when he wasn't well and had a wry and sometimes profane vocabulary and sense of humor.... I remember him fondly....

Charlie was truly "one of a kind". If you met him just one time you never forgot him. I had the privilege of ballooning with him and then to he and Martys' home for biscuits and gravy--What a day !!!My heartfelt condolences to Marty and family. Sandy Timmons

Charlie took my husband and me up for our first hot air balloon ride for our 7th anniversary (25 years ago). He and Marty were charming people and I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope your memories of this great man will bring you comfort in the days to come.

I knew Charley back in the 80's from Jakes in downtown Boise. He was kind, funny, knew thousands of jokes, and even drove some of us girls on a road trip I will never forget. Hugs to his family at this sad time. I didn't see mention of a service, but would love to attend.
