I will always remember and be grateful to Chuck for his kindness and mentoring when my husband and I moved to Boise and Bill joined Chuck at H.P. in 1977. Chuck was an intelligent well educated man skilled in business and competent in working with a wide variety of people in his work as well as in the community. Chuck, Chris, and I have the same Alma Mater, good ol' SJSU. My thoughts and prayers go out to Chris, Kevin, and the entire family. The Boise community lost a great man.

I got to know Chuck through golf at Crane Creek, especially our "Dewsweepers" group. He was as nice a guy as anyone could hope to meet....a great conversationalist who always had an interest in the people with whom he interacted. He also had a great career at HP and did so much for the community. His sickeness and passing happened so fast, it's still hard to believe that he is gone. I'll be out of town on the day of the memorial at Crane Creek, but I wanted Chris and her family to know that I'm so sorry for their loss.

I just heard about Chuck passing away. I met Chuck quite a few times when I was Mfg Mgr in Bristol. He was a friendly guy and we had dinner at a number of events. We also had his son spend time with our family near Bristol, England.

Sadly missed.

Chris and Kevin: We just returned from California and are terribly saddened by Chuck's passing. He was a true gentlemen and a friend to anyone who met him. I'll not forget his positive attitude and outlook on life.
One of my favorite memories is when Chuck and I helped Kevin and my son, Tom, move into their dorm room as freshman at UPS. I also recall with admiration the leadership he gave to Crane Creek as President, particularly securing the land for the 2 new holes presently being constructed. I deeply wish he would have played those holes.
He'll be truly missed by us and all who knew him.
