Dear Toni - We are so sorry to hear of your loss and wish you peace and comfort.

Our condolences to Toni and all of Don's family. He was a good friend and great bird hunting partner with our dogs. Enjoyed working with Don all those years on the Boise National Forest. He will be missed.

Don's passing really hit hard. I worked with Don for 2 years (1976-78) on the Boise. I was the wildlife biologist. Although I was only there for two years, Don and I were close due to the challenges we faced n the Forest during those 2 years. I had the highest respect for Don; he was the consummate professional. His findings were not always welcome news for some managers but no one could ever argue about the impeccable way in which he gathered his data and his knowledge of fisheries. My condolences to the family. I will always remember hunting mule deer in the Owyhees with Don and the terrific grin on David's face after he shot a four point buck. I used that photo in many presentations. God's blessings and comfort during this time of loss.
