To Darlene and Kids,
I'm so sorry to have missed Douglas's services. Not having been around anyone who knew Douglas and me, I hadn't heard. I just found out this past weekend. He was a dear friend that I still tell stories about our times together. He will be extremely missed.
God Bless
Friend for always,

Don "Douglas" Was my Wedensday lunch buddy date for many years at Eddys..I will always cherish the memories of him grabbing us McDonalds or Pauls deli food while he was on his route and sitting in the back room at the desk to eat together. He was full of humor, telling me jokes every day..he was always there to listen and give good advice when I was going through work or family problems he was just so sweet and endearing ..he wrote me a poem when someone close to me passed away. He brought all of us girls goodies from his garden along with delicious home baked goods his wife made for us..his Christmas cards were always a good laugh..he even became close enough to my Mother from seeing her in the store that he sent my parents a Christmas card one year..my parents got a kick out of his card and the fact that he thought to send them one too...he always recognized my siblings, kids and Mother if he ran into them while on his route and always took the time to visit with them..They don't make too many men as great as Douglas...He will be missed ❤

Don was a very kind person, and i enjoyed our talks over the 20+ years at the bread store. Had fun putting his smiling face in our "back to school displays". He was a good friend, and will be missed.

What a special uncle God allowed us to have. So many good memories of spending time at his home when I was a child growing up. Riding horses, playing with our cousins and best of all watching the Wizard of Oz with all the family. I will always hold uncle Donny close to my heart. God bless him and his loving family.
