George R. Beets
1941 - 2016
George R. Beets of Nampa, loving husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend, finished his race well on October 5, 2016! George was born in Casa Grande, Arizona, to Riley and Josie May Beets and has 3 siblings: Roy Beets, Gloria Perry and Brenda Beets Brown. He moved to Kuna, Idaho with his family where he met the love of his life, Frieda L. Beets. They married and raised their family in Nampa, Idaho. Their love brought them 3 beautiful (pumpkin head) daughters: Kim Mitchell & Marc, Tonya Harrison & Gregg, and Jill Beets Vargas, who blessed them with 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 in the oven.
George, founder and president of George Beets Construction Trademark Homes, began offering quality homes to families in 1963. It was his commitment to quality, value and comfort that earned him his rewarding reputation. The Snake River Valley BCA awarded him with the first honorary member of the association for a lifetime. George's talents went beyond fear of adventure. He opened Beets a Bucket Car Wash, Fish on a Stick, and Little Kitchen Restaurant. He continued his talents with renderings and paintings for his family.
Beyond his talents, George's big quiet spirit showered us all with love. Words from his grandkids and sons-in-law are as expressed: Marc- Quiet Giant, Greg- Grateful King, Whitney- Gentle, Shelbey- Humble, Marcey- Provider, Bailey- Genuine, Jelani- Superman, Bakari- Unfaltering, Sadiki- Creator, Safiya-Loving, Kaitlyn-Admirable, Jayce- Influential. His legacy will live on through the love of his family and friends.
Please join us in a celebration of his life on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 1:00p.m. at Crossroads Community Church 4070 E. Amity Ave. Nampa, Idaho 83687. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Snake River Valley BCA, 1123 12th Ave. So. Nampa, Idaho 83651.

Frieda and Family, So sorry to hear of George's passing. He was a great friend and I always appreciated his cheerful attitude and work ethic. One of the best builders in Idaho and always gave his clients a fair deal. He will be missed. Give me love to the rest of the famiy. I feel bad that we won't be able to attend his memorial. May God bless and comfort you at this time.
