Lisa Eisenbarth Obituary

Lisa Kay Eisenbarth
June 21st, 1960 ~ January 26th, 2017
In loving memory of my sister, Lisa, who bravely fought breast cancer for 3 years and achieved remission. Just 9 months ago, colon cancer was detected. Lisa & her daughter, Kalee chose to move back to Idaho with me in July. She bravely endured treatment and decided to have First Choice Hospice Care instead of being in a hospital or nursing home for the remainder of her life. Kalee took classes and trained to be a care giver for her Mom. She and I worked as a team and made sure her every need was met. Lisa was born June 21st, 1960 to Frances K. Jones and Richard A. Eisenbarth in Weiser, Idaho. She was reared and educated there, graduating from Weiser High School in 1978. My sister & I were best buddies, good kids and just played our hearts out every chance we could. Lisa just loved the camping & fishing trips our family took us on during childhood. I never saw or met anyone who could match her for doing crazy, zany things around our gorgeous state - mostly in her teens & early 20s. She enjoyed the outdoors very much - exploring every beautiful place she could. Lisa was somewhat of a thrill seeker. She loved river rafting, hiking remote locales where one might encounter lots of wildlife, flowers & trees. And rocks. She had a thing for pushing rocks off of cliffs. Yes, Lisa loved Idaho to the hilt. Our grandparents bought Oxbow Lanes Bowling Alley when we were very young. We had a lot of fun there over the years. Yes, our grandparents indulged us but we also helped out behind the scenes cleaning & polishing when the doors were closed. Grandma Tootie treated her grand kids with beverages & food but she didn't want us to have too many sweets. Grandpa Albert would pull a fast one on grandma & give us candy on the sly. I can still see my Lisa's grinning face when he did that. The bowling alley had lots of games besides bowling. Grandpa gave us the house quarters and we played. Lisa was really great at playing pool, Foosball. Air Hockey and Pinball. Usually beating me. Let's see, what else did Lisa enjoy? She was a huge fan of bull riding. Crazy about it really. She watched PBR on TV. When younger, she went to bull riding events. Lisa loved scary rides at theme parks, carnivals & fairs. Again, wild crazy good times. Oh and wickedly fun Halloween costumes was Lisa all the way. Her very last one was Medusa and she rocked it - even as sick as she was. Lisa and I loved going trick or treating when we were kids in Weiser - those were the days when you got homemade cookies, popcorn balls, candied & caramel apples because our little town was the best. My sister was a football nut. Lisa loved the New England Patriots. One of the last things she was able to do in a sitting position under her own steam was to sit up in her favorite chair & watch Tom Brady lead the team to the AFC Championship. Lisa had such a great sense of humor. I wanted to be more like her in so many ways. She had such a way about her. Always kidding around, having fun - with this big grin on her face. She was like our Dad - me more like Mom. My sister spent 19 years with Robert Garren. Together they operated several pipeline companies and went to or through almost every state in the USA living out of big RVs and homes. Lisa was told children were not possible but God blessed her with little Kalee Hope at the age of 36 on Dec. 7th, 1996. Lisa was over the moon in love with her beautiful baby girl. Robert and Lisa split after 19 years but she tried to remember the good times - after all they have their lovely daughter... I always missed my sister whenever she was away from me. I know that I will miss her every single day for the rest of my life...Lisa, Take care of Mom and David & the rest of our loved ones. I will look over & take care of Kalee & Dad and the rest of our family. I Love You, Loriann xo Lisa is survived by father, Richard A. Eisenbarth of Weiser, ID; daughter, Kalee H. Eisenbarth, sister, Loriann Eisenbarth Ringgold, Niece, Rachel, Great Niece, Addison all of Star, ID; Sister, Julie Eisenbarth of Colorado. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Fred Sr & Christina Eisenbarth and Albert & Tootie Watkins and mother, Frances Kay Jones Eisenbarth all from Weiser, Idaho and Brother-In-Law, David Ringgold of Elko, NV. There will be a immediate family only memorial service for Lisa at father, Richard's house on Tuesday, January 31st at her request. A Celebration of Lisa's Life Picnic in the Weiser Park is being planned for mid-May 2017. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest a donation be made in Memory of Lisa to the Idaho Foodbank Backpack Program. Non-perishable food items are placed in recycled backpacks and put in Idaho school classrooms so children who are in need will have food to eat over the weekend. Sadly many children go hungry - even in Idaho. This is a favorite charity of our family. Follow the link and it will guide you through. They print out a condolence card in your own words and send it to the family: In Memory of Lisa Eisenbarth c/o Richard A. Eisenbarth. Once you are done, call the phone number (208) 336-9643 and tell them to send the card ASAP and they will. Plus your donation amount is not disclosed - and your donation is tax deductible. It is hard to learn with a hungry belly. Here is the link: https://idahofoodbank.org/programs/backpack-program/

We went all through school together, she was a very kind friend. You can once again be the crazy girl you were in school. God Bless you.
