Sawyer Marie Sturman
Sawyer Marie Sturman, beloved daughter of Ryan and Deidrah Sturman, was born into the arms of Jesus on June 10, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise, Idaho. Born at 34 weeks, she was a flawless 6 pounds 11 ounces and 19 inches long. Although Sawyer never spent time with us on earth, she was deeply loved by her family and her existence has had an immense impact on the lives of everyone who knew her. She loved chasing Daddy's voice with kicks and somersaults, receiving kisses from big sister Kennedy, and sharing private, early morning conversations with Mommy about life and love. She passed away knowing only the peace of her mommy's belly and the pure love of her family.
Sawyer is greeted in heaven by her maternal grandfather, Mark Fannin; maternal great-grandmother, Barbara Robbins and great-grandfather, Ronald Robbins; paternal great-grandmother, Donna Eckles and great-grandfathers Bob Kevan, Calvin Eckles, and Frank Sturman.
In addition to her mommy, daddy, and big sister, Sawyer is missed on earth by her paternal grandparents, Doug and Becci Lange of Palmer, AK and Mark Sturman of Boise; maternal grandparents, Greg and Kleeta Newby of Boise; great-grandparents: Gary and Patricia Newby, Ralph and Sharon Moffitt, Adrian and Jocelyn Fannin, Esther Kevan, and Mid Sturman; aunts: Jennifer Fannin, Jerica Stacey (Mark Stacey), Dalonna Fannin, and Randi Sturman; as well as many great-aunts and -uncles, cousins, and others that loved her dearly.
Ryan and Deidrah would like to extend their greatest gratitude to Dr. Renner, and nurses Mindy and April, for the love, support, and compassion they showed while bringing Sawyer earthside and while her family spent the day holding, kissing, and surrounding her with love.
A service for Sawyer will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, 5400 Fairview Avenue, Boise. Sawyer will then be laid to rest at Morris Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the GoFundMe account that has been created to help the family with funeral and hospital expenses: www.gofundme.com/sawyermariesturman.

Countless hearts have been shattered by Sawyer's passing. Yet slowly, as our hearts begin to mend, we realize that this beautiful angel has imprinted herself on the pieces. She lives on in the very people who love her and you. Her brief life will always be more than a mere memory, because she has changed our lives for the better. Every joy, every sorrow, she shares; she brings us comfort even now. Each day, her soul shines brighter as she embraces those who love her most. We will love you always, Deidrah, Ryan, Kennedy, and Sawyer.
