Scott Sansoucie Obituary

Scott Sansoucie
1964 - 2017
Scott Sansoucie, of Boise, ID, passed away in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the age of 53.
Scott was born to parents Norman and Kay Sansoucie on August 26, 1964 in Springfield, MA. He grew up the second of five children and attended Earl L. Vandermeulen High School in Port Jefferson, NY. In 1992 he married Ileana Choy. After 13 years of service in the United States Air Force, Scott and his family moved to Boise, ID, where he eventually joined the manufacturing firm of Performance Design, LLC.
Scott battled demons of addiction for many years, but his love for Ileana made him fight for, and win, an addiction-free life. He poured himself into making Ileana and those around him feel important and loved. He remained steadfast to the end.
Scott is survived by his wife, Ileana Sansoucie; his daughter, Iliana Smith; his son, Valentin Monforte'; his brothers, Ken Sansoucie and Steven Clark. He loved and adored his grandson, Brody Smith. He is preceded in death by his father, Norman Sansoucie; his mother Kay Domke, his brother Keith Sansoucie; his sister, Barbara Whaley; and his son from a previous marriage, Matthew Sansoucie.
A memorial service will be held at Summers Funeral Home at 3629 E Ustick Rd, Meridian, ID on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., followed by a reception at the Charter Pointe Clubhouse at 9301 W Mossywood Dr, Boise, ID from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Please join us and share your stories and memories of Scott.
