I met Harvey when I was 18 and became his student in Menlo Park. I loved the classes and tournaments. Harvey gave me his beautiful GI for a tournament..I can still see his face and his eyes when I had to spar with him
He was one of a kind and I wish I would have gotten back to Calif. to visit him. My fondest memory is ,do not ever punch Harvey in the kidney when he turns his back!! What a great time I had studying at the dojo..Thank you Harvey for everything you taught me. Love Sandee

At the age of 17, Sensi Clary was my instructor at the Tracy Studio in Menlo Park California in 1967. He was a mentor and an adult that I looked up to. I'd have followed him off the cliff. I am saddened to find this as I have used the internet to look for him. I miss him

Myself and other officer talkrd Harvey into shaving his head so he'd look like Cane on the TV series.Unbelivable, it,s been 50 years. He was a friend and he will be missed. I knew harvey in 1972 when he became my Instructor. He was firm fair and always brought the best out of me. He gave me an insight on what worked and what didn't. Sorry for the loss. Roger Pietz,Lewiston, idaho.
