As one "of her children's friends who also found strength and wisdom in her acceptance and emotional support," I am more than saddened to find this news. Inez, every time I iron a shirt I think of the care you took to teach me how to iron for, as you said, 'a man should know how to cook for himself and iron his own clothes.' I think of you often, and in your new adventure know that you have a permanent place in my own heart. Thank you for all you have given.

Laurie and Pam,

I was sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I was heartened to read that she stayed so active with all her interests and found the enjoyment of companionship, family, and travel for many years.

I have often thought of your family and the fun times we enjoyed in the best possible place to grow up with Moms that always welcomed the neighborhood in.

I hope you can find comfort in believing that she is off on another adventure.
