Rest in peace, Spike, you will be missed by so many who's lives you touched. You were such an inspiration to all the young ones you coached over the years and this family will always be grateful for your encouragement. Marlene, thank you for sharing Coach with us, he was truly an inspiration. Prayers to you...I will let his little runner know, she just spoke of him the last time we talked. Her hero!
With love, Therese

We have numerous special memories with Jim and Marlene enjoying golf or enjoying a meal or working on a project at Sacred Heart Church or School. Whatever was needed at the church or school Jim was there with a smile and willing hand no matter how big nor how small the task. He loved children and gave much of his time to encouraging and teaching them to be their best not only in sports but in life. He was a true example of a loving Christian man and will be missed by all whom he touched. We are fortunate to be counted among the many. Marlene, thank you for sharing him with us. His special hugs will never be forgotten.
