I had the pleasure of meeting John several years ago. He was so proud of his family. I know he always looked forward to Red Fish Lake. John was a beautiful person- both inside and outside. He will be missed.

I was saddened to read the passing of John. I owned Gus's Gas in Grand View and he stopped frequently on his way to and from Murphy and Mt Home. He had iced tea in summer and coffee/cocoa in winter.
Joyce my co-worker and I found him a joy to visit with. From his stories it sounded like he had an eventful life and he was very proud of his family.
He donated his skills to Grand View for a walking bridge across the irrigation canal so people and bikers no longer had to use the highway.
I know he will be missed and I pray God will comfort his family at this sad time.

With Deepest Sympathy,
Linda Gustavson

Jeanne & Jason, we are sad to read of the passing of your father. The wonderful summary of his life sounds as if he was a incredible father and grandfather. Willie and I are thinking of you during this difficult time. Willie & Patty Halaufia
