We have known John for many years through his employment with Rosehill Coin. He had excellent suggestions and could tell us the value of items we were purchasing. He knew the history of antiques and other valuables we would select. We will miss him dearly as a very classy and informed friend.

John hired me at the Arbiter in '74, put me in a couple of his plays, sic'd me on one of his favorite leading Laydeez for 6 years as we all entertained ourselves from opposite ends of the spectrum at The Ram....his talent, guts and wit served to help eradicate a lot of ignorance, apathy and stupidity everywhere he roamed....SO - it IS true...the good DO die young....break a leg, Boss - TNX for the memories!!-Major John Buck DeMotte, US Army(RET), AirborneRangerCavalry, '66-'91, 2BAs & Teaching/IT certs, BSU '77, MA,Purdue '83, MS, UofOregon, '86

John will be missed by us and my father Vern Davis. Dad enjoyed going to Rose Hill and talking about the coins and gold. Dad was very saddened to hear of his passing, but was glad he was able to see him recently. Enjoy your memories,we know we will.
