I was just thinking about Dr. Adams this morning and wondering where he was now. My husband Roger did an online search and sadly found his obituary. I am so very sorry to hear of Dr. Adam's passing. My condolences to Karen and all the family. My mother, Evelyne Sullivan was the Nanny for Amy and Stephen when they were children. He also gave me away at my wedding in 1980, at their home in Palo Cedro after my father, Porter Sullivan's passing in 1979. Dr. Lee and Karen opened their hearts and their home to me by celebrating the ceremony in their backyard under a very large oak tree. He was a very kind and compassionate man and I will never forget what a blessing he and Karen were to my mother and our family.

I knew him in San Jose, he moved to Redding, 10 years later I moved to Redding, I was infertile, he never gave up helping me. I named my first born son for him. Without his expertise and help I would have never been able to be a mother. May you rest in peace sweet man. I think of you often.

My heartfelt sympathys go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4 : 14 can bring comfort.Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
