I am Jean Luscombe Faught.

I forgot to sign my name to the story I told about my friend Lorraine . I told of the good times I had with Lorraine. But as you know she was known as (Blondie) to everyone at Ustick Grade School, United Methodist Church and Meridian High School.
Everyone in the town of Meridian, Idaho knew who Blondie was. I don't think anyone would have know who we were talking about if we'd said Lorraine, But every one knew Blondie. The one who was the High School girl doing such a good job at Herb's Ice Cream Parlor. She was a good worker, (Special person).
The smile she has in the picture is the one I remember very well.
Always a good sense of humor. Lucky to have been here friend.

I first met Lorraine as a class mate at Ustick Grade School. We sometime walked home after school together when I lived on Five Mile Rd. and she lived just off Five Mile.
We graduated from Meridian High School in 1948. We attended the Methodist Church, went to the Youth Group together and attended Church Camp together at Wallowa Lake. Oregon.
Lorraine was a trusting peson. She worked at Herb's Ice Cream Parlor when she was in High School. She was even given the responsibility from her boss of closing.
I spent several nights at her families home following United Methodist Youth on Sunday Night.
I will miss her more than words can say.
May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family today and always. Blessing on you Charles!
