I am so sorry to learn of Nancy's passing. I did sewing alterations for Nancy occasionally, and grew to admire her and her determination to fight her cancer. The last time I saw her, I was helping to alter her dress for the September wedding she wanted to attend...I believe of one of her grandchildren. She wasn't sure she would live that long but I told her, "yes you will!". I hadn't heard from her since that time, so thought I would check the Stateman. We don't get the paper any more. She was such a fighter and such a gracious lady. I will truly miss her. May God bless her family.

Carter and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this most difficult time. Your memories will help carry you through and your love for her will always be in your heart and I can say nothing that will help you right now but know that Nancy will always be one of my favorite patients. She was strong, smart and always wanted to do whatever she could so that she could be with her family. I will forever cherish her memory. My prayers are with you and your family.
