Patty was an angel as described in her obituary. She was always positive and the positivity was heartfelt and true. As my teaching neighbor when we had next-door classrooms at Mountain Home Junior High, some 35 years ago and more, Patty inspired and motivated me to be a better teacher, better mother, better person, modeling her personal, natural gifts of kindness, compassion, insightfulness, and confidence..

Patty always gave of herself generously, genuinely loving others and placing others' needs before her own. I have the warmest memories of our friendship during my Mountain Home years when our children were young.

So sorry for your loss, however I know she's happy in heaven reunited with her parents. Patty and her wonderful family were my neighbors and part of our parish family growing up. I really got to know Patty when she was my home economics teacher at MHJHS. She truly was an amazing teacher. I learned so much from her and she was the kindest teacher I ever had. It's funny, because I also think of her after 30+ years when I see a jelly roll, and how she taught us to cut it with a thread! There are so many other fun memories I have from her class. I'm sure she made a huge impact on so many of her student's lives. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.

What a wonderful lady. I truly enjoyed working with and knowing her. She will be missed.

I still think of her when I see a jelly roll or make a Boston Cream pie, even after 30+ years. She was an excellent Home Ec teacher. I always remember the love she had in her voice when she talked about her sons. My sympathies.
