I cannot remember ever not knowing Pat Mcmonigle. He and my Dad were best friends. They grew up together, went to school together, went into the Marine Corps together, were in that terrible car accident together and when my Dad died, Pat was always there for my Mom. Pat even drove to Poky to plant a huge flagpole in her front yard to honor him. Pat was a true patriot. Pat always made sure my Mom received flowers on her birthday. Dear Pat, you are loved!

Pat has been in my life since high school. He became my brother-in-law and no one could have been a better one. He was one of the finest men I have ever known, and a real man among men. His kindness, compassion and understanding of others was unmatched. He gave of himself to others, and was always there for others. His pride in his family, the humility with which he lived his life gave to everyone an example that needed no words to tell you what the man really was. I will miss him deeply and will always continue to remember his love for all, and our love for him. Thank you Pat, for being in my life, and for my being able to be in yours. You are a light which will never fade, nor will our love for you. Thanks Pat for everything and for the love you gave my sister..........

I have the fondest memories of Mr. McMonigle. Always a pleasure. He had a super attitude, and put up with plenty from his boy Pat and me. He helped steer us in the right direction and kept a wry smile doing it.
My heart goes out to all who were close to him.
Bless him, and bless you all.
