My memories of Peggy and Hal go back to our days in Japan in the mid 1950's. Hal was our Branch President and my husband, Neil, his 1st counselor. We did lots of activities together. Peggy was like a sister to me-- a newly married and a new member of the Church. Being so far from home, our friendships became very important. Lots of happy memories included Peggy and Hal. Peggy--always helpful, smiling, sweet, cheerful yet a strong personality that achieved success whatever the challenge. The Branch was never quite the same without our Peggy.
Our paths crossed again when we returned to Logan and Hal was just finishing school here. So good to touch base before they had to move on.
Peggy and I have been telephone friends in recent years and we were planning to get together as soon as the snow melted this spring. So sad we didn't get to reminisce and laugh over lunch.
Looking forward to visiting with our Peggy and Hal in the future...

Peggy and I go back to our Thomas birthplace and a been a dear friend. I was very sad to learn that she is gone. She was always gracious and warm hearted and is a dear friend to many people. I'm sorry I wasn't able to be there to greet and lend support to the family.

What a gracious and lovely woman, always with a ready smile, cheery attitude and kind word! Hers was a life filled with faith, hope, courage and charity. We have been privileged to call her friend. We extend our love and condolences to her family, whom she loved and cherished with all her heart.

It is with heartfelt condolences to the family of Peggy Coburn that we wish to offer a tribute, deep respect and immense gratitude for Peggy. During the time Peggy was a caregiver for our family we came to know her as a remarkable woman. We learned that it is, indeed, possible for one person to represent the entire breadth of what can be regarded as pure goodness. Compassionate, generous beyond measure, hopeful, deeply spiritual, emanating beauty in every way. Peggy's positive outlook and easy ability to laugh were constantly up-lifting. It was our privilege to have had the opportunity to know her, love her, and greatly respect her. We are deeply saddened by your loss and offer to you, her family, our tribute and testament of the grace and legacy of a truly extraordinary woman. She was much loved by our family.
In sympathy, Velma, Jerry, and Colleen Allen
