I will always remember the big grin. Stan smiled wide and one could not help but return the smile, and the world looked a little brighter.

It was an honor and a real pleasure to have known such a generous, selfless person. He is an example for us all to follow.

As you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Stan and me grew up together in Long beach Ca. every summer we would play over the line baseball at the highschool. He had a huge upper cut swing and that ball would always land past the bungalows. He was the only one with a car so he come by to pick me up and we would go do some sport activity. He also told me about my first job. He was working at this grocery store called Country butcher. he cleaned the meat market. He was quitting so he told me if I wanted to work to talk to the owner. I got my first job. The store is no longer there anymore. Isn't that how life is things change and people move on and death eventually happens to all of us. Does not make it easy but what makes it so good is that God is welcoming him into his House, we just need to hear him. We will miss you my good friend.

My condolences to the family and friends of Stan. We went to Jr. High and High School together and we hung out a lot at Whaley park playing whatever sport that was available at that time of the year. We also played a lot of over the line over the years. We lost contact but we reconnected by texting each other about our baseball teams. The Dodgers and Giants. He will be greatly missed by my Brother Piet and myself.
