was saddened to learn of the passing of Sumner....My folks (Dick & Jean Riordan) were long time friends with Sumner & Betty..sharing their love of the Vandals, their home town, a drink on the deck after cutting wood or telling stories at the afternoon coffee club .....my prayers go out to the family at this time and a recognition of a life well lived....GOD BLESSINGS .....

Betty, Lynn and family. Ann and I extend our deepest sympathies to you in your loss. Nampa and the state of Idaho have lost a legend and best friend. Sumner was one of the first to take interest in us when we moved to Nampa...and he was a pretty good shot! God bless you all. Bob and Ann

We are so saddened by Sumner's passing, he and Betty were one in a million. The Feathervile neighborhood will never be the same as we also enjoyed sitting on his deck with him. His loss is a big void,God Bless you all. Ted and Ruth
