A few casual comments with a friendly couple at a nearby Starbucks table evolved over a short time into conversation and a growing friendship with Susie and Rich Nystrom. As we shared meals, hospitality and common interests we came to admire Susie's bright spirit, joyful outlook, infectious laugh and an amazingly deep faith. We often heard her respond to trouble and uncertainty with the comment, It's in God's hands. Our friendship continued even after we left Boise. When we left Susie gave us a saying that hangs on our wall, Some people come into our lives and quietly go. Others stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts and we are never the same. Susie left enduring footprints on our hearts, and while we are grieved at her passing we are joyful that her earthly troubles, of which she had more than her share, are over and that she has met her Savior face to face. We rejoice that we will see her again in Glory.

We are so sorry to hear of Susie's passing. We loved visiting with her at church. She was such a ray-of-sunshine every Sunday morning, always smiling! We will miss her dearly. May God bless & keep you.

I cherish my memories of Susie's warmth, humor, sweetness and strength. As her neighbors in Boise, Susie shepherded us newbie Californians through our adjustment to life in Idaho ("No planting pots until Mother's Day!") and always made us feel welcomed and cared for. She was a wonderful friend and the best neighbor anyone could have.

Susie was one of those people who always put others first. It was our pleasure to have a chance to get to know her. She was beautiful in every way and her love of Jesus evident in all she did. She will be missed so much! Annarae and Dave Schorzman
