Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Dave and Family. Twila was such a ray of smiling sunshine. I'm sure the seeds of kindness and happiness will continue throughout the years through your girls and your grandchildren. Tim and Diane Wall

I miss her! She was a dear friend in high school, and even more so in the years following. As a young mother Twila set the bar extremely high with Lindy, her first of four daughters. I visited her often watching as she worked, took immaculate care of her home, and mothered her first born. I was so blessed to have her as my friend, to be included in her life and I learned much from her about being selfless. Twila had so much love to give, and I often prayed that a special guy would find her. Not long after, the most amazing man caught her attention and he had been right in her midst for years. David was exactly what Twila wanted and needed. I'm certain the first attraction was his hilarious personality and Twila loved to laugh. He became an instant father and the husband that most women only dream of. Together, David and Twila read their bibles, prayed, attended church, raised their four daughters to love the lord and rejoiced. For a time, Twila and Dave were alternate parents for our youngest, Mathew. Not even a year old, and with Mitch and I both working long hours in Narcotic Enforcement, Dave, Twila and the girls became his extended family. We were so blessed to have them, to know that Twila was rocking our little guy to sleep. Following their move to Nampa we lost touch, only connecting occasionally thru social media. When we lost our beautiful daughter Heidi eight years ago, Twila's prayers, and comforting words helped get me through. Three years ago or so, Twila, Sally and I enjoyed an evening at Sally's house with Chinese food. Time had stood still for a bit and it felt like we were 17 again. And later the sad news of Twila's cancer diagnosis. I'm so, so very thankful that I got to see you, hold you, talk to you in the past couple years. You, David and your family, have been an inspiration. I will miss you terribly but I take solace in knowing you are free, with our Father and holding our Heidi Ho Ho's hand.

We hold many wonderful memories of Twila with Dave and the girls throughout the years. What a beautiful person with a big heart! Our prayers will continue for all of you as you navigate the future without your wife, mom, and Nan. May all the beautiful memories warm your heart and the promise of seeing her again someday encourage you when you need it. With all our Love,
