James "Jim" A. Catarouch
age 87 of Canton, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018. He was born on July 28, 1930 to the late Joseph and Theresa Catarouch. Jim is survived by his wife of 64 years, Antoinette "Toni" (Polsinelli); three children, son Joe, (Colleen, deceased) son Jim and daughter Jonette (Doug Zartman). Also survived by grandchildren, David (Jessica) Wagner, Kyle Catarouch and Owen Catarouch; great-grandchildren, Brayden and Peyton Wagner; and special nephew, John Cespedes.
Jim was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving as Sergeant in the Korean Conflict. He then was employed by Diamond Portland Cement, and retired from the Ford Motor Company. Jim was a member of St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish.
Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Sunday 3 to 5 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish at 10 a.m., with Rev. Fr. Tom Kraszewski as celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish or Mercy Hospice. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Plain Township Fire Department and the Veterans Service Center.

Jimmy was a great man with a very kind heart. He was the only person who reached out to help me in a time of need. I will never forget his kindness and what a great friend he was. My condolences to the entire family. God Bless.
