Buddy made my parents feel welcomed when they joined the Avon Community Church of God. They had moved to an assisted living community in Avon after living in Muncie most of their adult lives. His kindness made this transition less difficult. Thanks.

While Buddy's time here on earth is over his memory and legacy will live on. It was an honor to have known him. Such a kind and caring man. A wonderful sense of humor. He was a blessing to Avon Community Church of God, to his family and to his friends as well. He will be missed but we know he is enjoying eternity at the feet of his Savior Jesus.

I have known Buddy since I was a child. He was kind, caring, and always encouraging. My earliest memory is of him driving a van full of kids to Dairy Queen on Rockville Road when I was in youth group at Rainbow Acres; I got to sit in the front seat—which was a treat coming from a big family. I remember he took a genuine interest in me as a kid—and that warmth was present over the course of decades.

He made the world a better place; may we all strive to live kindly in honor of his life.

The few times I got to spend with Carlin were special. He always like to talk about family and faith. How much better is this world for having Carlin in it for a brief time. Thank you Heavenly Father
