I am so sorry to hear of Ralph's passing. It's been over 50 years since we moved from the neighborhood in which we group up and I remember, just like it was yesterday, how decent of a person Ralph was. He made everyone feel like family and we all looked up to him. I seen him years later at an Air Force base and he was still the same person. He will be missed.

My heart is broken. Ralphie, you were always such a good friend to me. I loved our conversations and the shared adoration between you and my husband, Coachie. Softball and Metro brought us into each others' lives and were always common threads for us. I take some solace that you passed doing something that you loved with people you loved, hitting practice at Riverside Park. I suspect that you only left because Coachie needed a great first baseman and hitter on his roster. Hugs and prayers.

Ralph W. Adams, Jr., was a man among boys. He was a terrific friend, very ethical and a person who loved his family and friends.

There wasn’t a day that we spoke that he wasn’t talking about his family or showing me the latest family photograph.

May God Bless our dear friend’s family and comfort them with His healing balm of love.
