The Media-Upper Providence Free Library is saddened by the loss of our past Board President, Francis X. Shields, who was the driving force that led to the building of our beautiful library completed in 2016. Frans exceptional stewardship through tireless devotion carried the library into the future, and we will be forever grateful.
In this sorrowful time, the Library Staff and Board of Trustees offer our heartfelt condolences, and farewell to one of our greatest champions.
