I knew Nick for his entire time spent at Virtua as a medic. We go back to the days of West Jersey. I had the pleasure of riding with Nick many times and loved how laid back and caring he was to his patients, their families and his fellow medics. He also had a wicked good sense of humor. Not too long ago I got to spend some time with Nick recerting him in PEPP and most of the time was spent reminiscing about the good old days. He was a kind and caring person which is hard to find these days. He will not be forgotten.

My interaction with Nick while he was here among us was so small, but he left such a huge impression of genuine kindness, warmth, honesty and compassion on me through our interactions as fellow paramedics. Witness to all who grieve- may many happy memories return to you in time!

I had the pleasure of working with Nick on M44 for just one shift. From the minute we introduced ourselves to each other, and learned of our connection of working with high-risk kids for many years, the day took an amazing turn to be one of the most fulfilling medic shifts I've enjoyed in my career. Nick and I found out that we knew many of the same people, served some of the same kids, from two different careers and perspectives. My nearly 25 years of working with kids from multiple states with all kinds of struggles was always a gift when I had the privilege of working with providers and innovators in the field like Nick P. We spoke about working together again if our schedules allowed to share some more stories. Unfortunately for me, that didn't happen. I only hope that with a day filled with sharing stories of trials and successes, both working with kids and his career as a medic, that I was able to express my appreciation and joy in working with him. God Bless you Nick, may you enjoy eternal peace, rest, and health. Andi Quinn
