John was a gentle, kind and fun man. He was loving and I have good memories of our picnics at Sylvan Park in Redlands and the family volley ball games.

I vividly remember our Friday family nights. Uncle John and Dad playing chess then they moved to Pinochle with the wives. We, the kids played hide and seek and ate lots of candy. Our families were so close that we called them Aunt and Uncle. Ive never thought it the Pace family as anything other than my family. We love you all so much and our hearts break with yours. May you find comfort in all of the wonderful memories. Uncle John was always larger than life. He leaves us with the sweet memory of his smile and laughter.
