He attended Holy Rosary Academy, graduated from San Bernardino High School and attended Crafton Hills College. Tom worked for Kaiser Steel for 13 years and then served the City of San Bernardino as a Police Officer for 30+ years. I first met Thom in high school in San Bernardino and we became close friends. Time marched on and we lost touch. A couple of months ago I was able to reconnect with Thom and we had a couple of marathon 2 hour phone conversations that were incredible and fun. We had made plans to meet up after the pandemic situation sorted itself out.
The best memories I have are 4 wheeling with Thom and our good friend Patrick Escobar all through the San Bernardino Mountains...summer days and endless roads.
I'm glad I had the chance to reconnect with Thom. He left us too soon. He was a true friend, generous of spirit, and an all around great guy. I will miss him.

We would like to thank all of the family, friends and SBPD that came out yesterday to pay respect to our dad and share stories. It meant so much to see that our dad touched so many people in one way or another. Daddy was one of a kind...a tough and gruff exterior but, generous and caring on the inside. He told the best stories, knew everything and everyone. He had a great sense of humor, was sarcastic, a bit twisted and really nuts. He loved his family. He loved his job and fellow officers. He loved life. He will be missed.

Nonnie and I found a great friend in you. I will personally miss you buddy. You are gone way to soon. We were supposed to go have navy bean soup together at Tony’s greasy spoon. We will meet again my fellow thin blue liner. RIP
