Winn McFadden was peacefully called into the presence of the Lord on January 29, 2021. The beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend was 68 years old. Winn dedicated her life to the service of others. She spent her career working with families in crisis for the Imperial County Department of Social Services where she retired as Deputy Director in 2015. Winn was preceded in death by her beloved eldest son Kevin McFadden; parents Everett and Colleen Gavin and brothers Kelan Gavin and Christian Gavin. Winn is survived by her husband of 48 years, Dilda McFadden; as well as by her daughter-in-law Sara McFadden (Kevin); daughter Wendy Jayne (Tim) and son Dion McFadden (Courtney). Winn will be deeply missed by her nine grandchildren, Nathan, Kyra, Taiylor, Kaden, Dodge, Lexington, Bohdi, Tyson and Teighan; as well as by her brother Timothy Gavin (AnaMaria) and sisters Pamela Gavin (George), Kimberly McGarvie (Patrick), and her sister in spirit Bobbie Valenzuela. No formal services are planned at this time. A private ceremony will be held by family at a later date.
