Delphi - Uva V. Cooper Coffman, 92, of Delphi, died Wed-Jan 17, 2018, at 4pm at Monticello Healthcare Center. She was born July 9, 1925 in Hillsboro, WV, to the late Jay & Georgie Moore Cooper. Her marriage was to Clayton "Buck" Coffman in Hillsboro, WV, on Nov 15, 1945, and he preceded her in death on July 15, 2014. She was a 1944 graduate of Hillsboro High School. She was a homemaker. She and her husband moved from Buckhannon, WV to Delphi in Nov-1989. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Delphi, and taught Sunday school. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, and reading. She dearly loved her family. Surviving: brother-James & Sandy Cooper of Delphi; sister-Myrtle O'Dell of Dunbar, WV; nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by her daughter Donna M. Dilley; 2 brother's Clyde & Lewis. Services-Friends may call Monday from 10am until her funeral service at 11am, at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. Pastor Michael Harbour officiating. Burial at Paint Creek Cemetery, Camden. Memorial contributions to the Wabash & Erie Canal Center, envelopes available at the funeral home. http://www.abbottfuneralhome.com/
