To Cheryl and Jade Washburn

This is with heavy heart, we all have you in our thoughts and prayers.
"Wash" touched so many lives thru his sports writing and awesome personality. He did this thru the eyes of baseball players from around the world during the PONY Baseball - Colt World Series. He will be missed by so many people thru his eyes, mind and writing abilities. We know and will forever see that so much of him has been passed onto Jade and the Washburn family will be forever a big part of the World's Baseball community.
From all your baseball family from around the world, he will be greatly missed.

A part of me died when I had heard Jeff was gone. He had been an important part of my social and professional life since I graduated from Purdue in 1978. My heart aches for you Cheryl and Jade, but I know you both will cherish the time you spent and the memories you shared with Jeff, an exceptional and decent man.

I always looked forward to Jeff's visits to the Frontier athletic events and my hospitality rooms. Jeff made tourney time special! His comments and stories could make one feel "on top of the world". I thank his family for sharing Jeff with all of us!
