Margaret McGill Clayton, 71, of Omaha died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2016 in Omaha. Margie was born on Nov. 27, 1945 in Sterling, to Richard and Rose Margaret (Hecker) McGill. On June 6, 1970, she married Dave Clayton at St. Anthony Church in Sterling. Margie taught at Sexson Elementary in Sterling before moving to Kearney, Nebraska. A loving wife and caring mother and grandmother, Margie was always generous to her family and friends. Margie was my babysitter when I was a child. I always enjoyed her and her sister, as well as her dad, who trained German Shepherds. She was kind and fun. I am so very sorry for your loss.
