Bopp, Alfred H. A long time resident of Mukwonago, entered into Eternal Life at the Clement J. Zablocki, VA Medical Center, on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at the age of 79. Al was born in Milwaukee, on March 5, 1933, the cherished son of Henry and Lillian (nee Ranke) Bopp. Al was a former women's league softball coach for many years, and a softball coach for the girl's program within the Mukwonago C.A.A. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He was a longtime member of the American Legion Post #375 in Mukwonago and an avid bowler that loved to hunt and fish. Al was the beloved husband of Barbara A. (nee Hannon) Bopp, who preceded him in death on September 24, 2010. The Loving father of Dale Bopp, Jody Hanson and Krist and Henry Bopp. The proud grandfather of Keith (Stephanie) Hanson, Melissa Vincze and Tyler Bopp and great - grandfather of Ellie, Alexa and Colten. He is further survived by four brothers, three sisters, other relatives, and friends. Al was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, two sisters, and one brother. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Monday, December 3, from 4 PM until 7 PM, with American Legion Services at 5:45 PM. Memorial Services will be at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 4, at 11 AM. Memorials in Al's name may be directed to the Clement J. Zablocki, VA Medical Center, ATTN: Palliative Care Unit, 5000 W. National Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53295.

I worked with Al at Red Star Yeast. Actually, I filled in for him one summer when he was needed in one of the production departments. Al always made sure everything was covered. I am glad to have tapped on his knowledge. Please accept my sincerest sympathy on your family's loss.
