Sending light, love and peace to the Zeidler family at this time of grief and loss. I am priveledged to call Carolyn's daughter, Teri, a lifelong friend. I am grateful to Carolyn for raising a strong caring woman, and leading by example. Rest well. You are loved.

I taught music courses at UWM and placed my students in elementary schools with effective role models. Student teachers I assigned to Carolyn learned more than instructional details. Of upmost importance they observed Carolyn motivating diverse students while establishing positive, compassionate relationships. Later at Kenwood UMC Carolyn and I sang in the choir and served together on various committees, at times planning at my kitchen table. I admired her devotion to family, numerous skills, and charitable activities, i.e. knitting, gardening, & cooking (especially yummy
cookies). I thank God for her friendship and send condolences to her family. Dr. Marsha Kindall-Smith
