David, I miss you man. We all miss you and we all love you. We will never forget your laugher and smile, your gentle manner in showing us how to make it work, and your courage and positivity. You showed us how to be better people. We'll see you soon enough my friend. Until then, your light shines bright and shows us who we might hope to become.

I sincerely offer my deepest sympathy in the loss of David. No words can express what you have gone thru but know if you need to talk I am there for you.

I worked with David at Slalom. Although I knew David for less than two years, he made such a huge impression on me. He was one of the nicest guys I've ever met in my life. So genuine, so personable. A person you just gravitate to. I spent some time working with David on several projects and we went out to lunch on just a couple of occasions. So little time spent together, but his passing has left a large void in my heart. Like losing a close friend or family member. How does a guy you've known for such a short period of time make such an impact. Well, I came up with a list.

• He was himself. How many Wayne's World lookalikes do you see walking around nowadays in the corporate world?
• He was intelligent. He was one of my go-to colleagues when I needed another pair of eyes or a second opinion.
• He was dedicated. Even on those days when he was so weak and sick that he couldn't get out of the house, he made himself available.
• He was strong. No matter the degree of pain and suffering he was coping with, he was always positive with that big, ear-to-ear smile.
• And of least importance, he loved chicken wings and I love anyone who loves chicken wings as much as I do.

David was a warrior with a big heart. If you are fortunate enough to meet someone like this during your lifetime, they tend to leave their mark on you. And that is why David Hartman will forever be a part of my lifeand hopefully yours.

Rest in peace, my friend.

I worked with David for years. I knew him as a teenager and through adulthood. His smile and energy were infectious along with his love for music. Rest in peace, buddy. Much Love.
