To the Dillon Family

I just received Ruth's letter, February 12, that Don passed away. I was so saddened by the news and will miss him greatly. He was always so much fun to be with, had a great sense of humor and wonderful laugh. I treasure my memories of him and the good times we shared over the past 45 years of friendship. I will always remember the big parties to celebrate his "leap year" birthdays, the fish fries at the SS Yacht club, sail boat races where I got sea sick and laughter during lunches at his home in Brookfield.
Thanks for sharing all the beautiful photos of him and your family on the web site. I will be sending letters and a memorial gift to the family this week along with my prayers and love

Dear friend,
You have been on my mind since our last correspondence. Many have traveled the road you are on. We lose our sense of direction with the loss of our life's partner but God has a plan and in time I pray that you will find that peace that comes from knowing Donald fought the good fight and is now with his Savior. As always, you are in my prayers.

To Donald's family, sorry for your loss. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us that God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope, may that bring you comfort at this difficult time.
