My sincerest condolences to Judy and Fran's family. He was a colleague and friend and mentor. He and I together locally resolved the infamous Schlitz brewery criminal case in spite of issues with New York counsel for Schlitz and my bosses at the US DOJ. Keen insight and calm demeanor, an easy ironic laugh, a leader and winner without having to shout. I'll miss him.

Judy, Dave Bukey also sends his best.

Fran was a great friend and mentor to me in the IHL and AHL. His kindness, insight and knowledge helped shape both leagues. Certainly he helped me and our team in many ways for many years. It was my great privilege to know Fran and spend time with him. I will miss him greatly.

Fran was instrumental in our transition to ownership of the Milwaukee Admirals and attended our first American Hockey League Board Meeting with us. He was a true gentleman and helped make our initial time running the franchise a success.

A titan in not only the Milwaukee legal field, but also the local philanthropic world, Fran will be missed for his leadership, his kindness and overall good nature.

May God bless Fran and his family.
