Sorry to hear of the loss

Fond memories of working with Jim at Sentry/Supersaver and Aurora. His unique perspective on daily living and sense of humor are etched in my memory. All who knew will miss him.

Herb Schick contacted me to let me know of Jim's passing. we talked for quite a while about our days in "the dorm" in the Fall of 1966. As I recall, Jim and Dan shared the Sun Porch. Every evening (night) we could all listen to Jim's tenor accompaniment of the local radio station's midnight signoff by singing the Lord's Prayer.
There are many more memories we all have of Jim in our days at 234 Langdon Street. Let's think of those and remember our brother.

As a fellow Evans Scholar, I am saddened to learn this news. I didn't know Jim in high school, although we both went to Leo, on the south side of Chicago, before our time together in the Scholar house in Madison. Later, we would see each other at various Scholar alum functions. I was fortunate to have both Jim and Kathy as patients in my dental practice. I haven't seen Jim in a while, but remember both Jim and Kathy as good friends. Our prayers and heartfelt condolences to Kathy and all the family.
